Ghana Market Commentary
Another fairly active session recorded in GHGB trading with price action focused on June-25 at an average yield of 19.50%. The credit side also saw decent clips of ESLA-27 and ESLA 31 change hands at 19.65% and 22.75% respectively. On the data front, market participants will shift their attention to mid-year budget review, which will be presented to parliament by the Minister of Finance this morning. Key on investors minds will be government’s plan on how the country is to recover from the shocks of the economy due to the withdrawal of advanced monies from the Contingency and Stabilisation Funds following the COVID-19 pandemic.
